Holly Daniels has lived in the small tourist town of Deaks Crossing her entire life, and after graduation, she chose to live close to home. She's twenty-four, single, and thrives at her job as the assistant manager of an eclectic gift shop. The old-world building is one of several situated on the boardwalk across the street from a pristine lake, and surrounded by mountains. An idyllic place to work and play.

Richard Nelson, a handsome newcomer to town, incites passion in the beautiful woman, and it doesn't take long for Holly to fall in love. But his career as a corporate travel agent frequently takes him out of town. Will this stranger stay? Or will he move along and shatter her heart.

Over the past couple of months, there've been several instances which has frightened Holly, and she's positive that someone's been following her. But because of her well-known love of scary movies, her friends laugh it off and attribute her nervousness to that. However, the disappearance of their friend and co-worker a year ago still weighs heavily on everyone's minds. Which begs the question; is there a need for caution?

A cozy mystery about a young woman who discovered her beloved, older sister, Olivia, had taken her life, leaving no note as to why she'd done it. Devastated by the loss, Avery moved to the other side of the country., leaving behind those who loved her.

Seven years later, seeking to rebuild her life, she returned to the house her mother still lived in. But uppermost in her mind was the driving need to come to terms with the path her sister had chosen. Only then would she be able to find closure, and the peace she'd longed for.

What she hadn't counted on, was meeting a man like Marcus Beaumont, the  narcissistic, self-absorbed son of a wealthy family. From their first encounter at the local grocers, he'd sent chills up her spine and she rebuffed his advances. However, he wasn't the kind of man who took kindly to being told no. His relentless pursuit of his desires had made him a number of enemies in their community. Many of who would give all they had to see him fall.
